About Brook House Care Home

The family run home is under the personal supervision and care of the managing director/registered provider, Pradeep Patel. His daily personal involvement, together with that of the care manager of the home, Karen Brett, ensures that the highest standards of residential care are always met.

All of our staff at Brook House are fully trained to carry out their respective duties. There is a senior on duty at the home 24 hours a day and they are backed up by a range of carers and domestic staff, who work different shifts during the day and night. Care staff regularly attend courses which are designed to keep their training up-to-date and care staff are all offered the opportunity to gain their N.V.Q qualifications in care at either level 2, 3 or 4.

The manager keeps in regular contact with relatives and is always available to discuss any problems/concerns that may arise.

The home operates a "key worker" system. This means that all residents are allocated with a member of staff who will assist them in buying small items that they may require such as toiletries etc.
